FUTBIN is widely used around Squad Building Challenges because it combines current SBC information with player prices and community solution ideas. The useful part is estimating the resource cost before you submit cards you cannot recover.

Read EA’s requirement first

The live SBC inside EA SPORTS FC is the authority. Check the number of segments, rating/rarity requirements, chemistry or league/nation rules, expiry and whether the reward is tradeable.

Why the cheapest listed solution can stop being cheapest

Community solutions create demand. Once thousands of people copy the same squad, the specific cards inside it can rise sharply. A solution that was cheapest when posted can become expensive later.

Use club stock before buying fodder

Your personal cost is not the same as FUTBIN’s market estimate if you already own untradeable cards. Compare the value of using those items against saving them for another challenge.

Check valuable cards before submission

An SBC permanently consumes the submitted items. Before confirming in EA’s game/Companion App, make sure you have not included a card you use, an Evolution project or an item with unusual market value.

FC 27 streamlined SBCs

EA has introduced a streamlined SBC model for some FC 27 challenge types. Instead of always building a full squad around position/chemistry/overall restrictions, eligible items can contribute score toward a target based on rating and rarity. Duplicate versions of an item can also contribute.

How this changes third-party tools

FUTBIN-style SBC tools need to reflect whether a challenge uses the traditional full-squad format or the new score model. An FC 26 solution format may not describe an FC 27 challenge correctly.

Calculate the reward value separately

A 100k estimated SBC cost does not mean the reward is “worth 100k.” Consider whether the reward fits your squad, is tradeable, has alternatives and will likely remain useful.

Expiry and timing

Market costs can fall or rise during the life of an SBC. If the challenge has several days remaining, rushing immediately can be more expensive than waiting—though waiting also carries the risk of market changes.

For planning how the reward fits your team, see the squad-builder guide.

Traditional and streamlined SBCs can coexist

FC 27 does not mean every SBC becomes score-based. The launch material says streamlined SBCs are a new format for certain challenge types, while traditional squad-building logic remains relevant elsewhere. Third-party tools need to identify which format a specific challenge uses.

Duplicate handling is a practical FC 27 change

EA says streamlined SBCs can accept multiple versions of the same item toward the score. That can make duplicate management more flexible than older full-squad requirements.

Compare opportunity cost, not only coin cost

An untradeable 88-rated card may have zero sale value but still carry meaningful SBC value. Using it now can make a later challenge more expensive. FUTBIN’s estimate is therefore only one part of the decision.

Solution popularity creates feedback loops

When a highly ranked solution is copied widely, its component cards can rise, causing another solution to become cheaper. Recalculate near the moment you are buying rather than relying on the first result you opened.
